Dear Parent (s):

This letter is to inform you of the upcoming science project.  The theme for this marking period project is space.  Your child will choose one of the three projects described on the attached pages.  The possible projects deal will a planet travel brochure, a space trivia game, scale model of planets and moons, or an "ABC" book of astronomy.  Please look over the requirements for each with your child and help him/her to decide a project.

For this marking period, each student is required to turn in an individual project, no group projects.  There will be check point during class.  Students should bring all their project materials with them on this day.  This day will be used to check student progress and get assistance.  Watch your students assignment book for the date.

After completion of the projects, each student will be required to present their project to their classmates.
