LMS students…Do you know the difference between ratting and reporting?

Ratting is telling an adult about a problem you could solve yourself. Ratting is telling an adult about a problem when you really just want your own way. Ratting is telling an adult about a problem when you just want to make yourself look good. Ratting is telling an adult about a problem because you want to get someone into trouble that you don’t like. Reporting is telling an adult about a problem that is dangerous or destructive. Reporting is telling an adult about a problem when someone is getting hurt: their body, or their feelings, or their friendships, or their reputation, or their property are being hurt.

The Next Cardinal Pride Assembly

Legg Middle School will be hosting a “Cardinal Pride” assembly during the 4th marking period on June 11th. The assembly is to encourage, recognize, and reward students for showing our “Cardinal Pride” behavior expectations of respectful, responsible, and safe behavior. Students who have zero or one office referral for the 4th marking period will be able to attend. Show your Cardinal Pride by avoiding office referrals and by being respectful, responsible and safe.

Cardinal Pride Reminder

Come on LMS students show your Cardinal Pride! Keep hands, feet, objects, and unkind words to yourself during our Cardinal Pride Assembly. This will allow all students and staff to safely enjoy our cardinal pride assembly celebrating our respectful, responsible and safe behaviors.
