If you arrive in a vehicle, we are requiring that you participate in our curbside dismissal procedure. If your child is sometimes a walker and sometimes picked up in a car, please be sure to specify with the teacher as to how the child is getting picked up or call the office if it varies.
We ask that parents send an extra pair of clothes in their child’s backpack in the event of an accident. Bathroom accidents and/or spills happen at this age and unfortunately, we do not have the resources to provide clothing to every child.
End of Day Transportation Changes
Please do NOT leave end of day transportation changes on the answering machine. Messages are not usually checked until after the school day has ended. Please make sure that you speak to a person for changes by 3:15 PM Monday through Thursday and by 2 PM on Fridays to ensure ample time to get these changes to the teachers.
Community Days at Longstreet Living
Longstreet Living will be hosting Community Days during the week of November 4-9. A percentage of your purchases made at Longstreet Living will be donated to the Coldwater High School athletic team of your choice. If you were thinking of shopping, now is a great time to buy and help support your Coldwater Athletics.
Breakfast is free for all students. Lunch menus can be found on our website. Near the top right corner is a "Menus" link. Please follow the prompts or download the app, Nutrislice, on your smartphone. If you need to add money to your child's account for lunch, you can pay by cash or check in person during school hours. Please make checks payable to Coldwater Lunch Fund.
The CHS National Honor Society is sponsoring a 5K run/walk and a 1 mile Fun Run on Nov. 9 at 9 AM at Heritage Park in Coldwater. Registration forms will be sent home in next week's Friday folder, or you may contact the office for one. The cost is $20 for adults and $10 for students. All participants will receive a long sleeved tee shirt. Checks should be made payable to CHS National Honor Society and sent to Brian Stevens at Coldwater High School. Questions may be directed to him via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
It is getting to be that time of year when classrooms are having their parties to celebrate holidays. As many of you participate in the party, we ask you to remember that not all parents are comfortable with having their child’s image placed on social media. Please respect the wishes of other parents to not have their student’s picture taken and published on any social media site. We appreciate your cooperation with this matter.
Cold Weather=Wear Jackets!
Please be sure your child is dressed appropriately for the weather. Our students go outside daily for recess and with the cooler temperatures, it is important that you child has a jacket or coat to wear.
