New Superintendent Selected

After second round interviews and visitations with candidates Jeff Terpenning, Superintendent of Capac Community Schools, and Paul Flynn, Superintendent of Sandusky Community Schools, the Coldwater Board of Education has agreed to enter contract negotiations for its new superintendent with Paul Flynn.

Mr. Flynn has served as Sandusky’s Superintendent since 2017. Previously, he served the Yale Public Schools as high school principal for seven years, as high school assistant principal for nine years, and as a high school teacher for eight years. Mr. Flynn holds an Educational Specialist’s Degree in Central Office Administration/Superintendent from Saginaw Valley State University, a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Central Michigan University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in English and Speech from Michigan State University.

Mr. Flynn is expected to begin his new duties on July 1, 2023.
