A new date for the 160th Commencement Exercises of Coldwater High School has been established, after consultation with the officers of the Class of 2027, CHS Principal Dr. Steve Hope, and Superintendent Paul Flynn.

2027 Commencement Ceremony

Sunday, May 23rd, 2027

5:00 p.m.

The ceremony will be held at Larsen Stadium at Cardinal Field. In case of rain, the ceremony will be moved indoors to the Coach Floyd Eby Gymnasium at the same date and time. Tickets will only be required if the ceremony is held indoors; information on ticket distribution will come at a later date.

District and CHS administration appreciates the feedback concerning potential conflicts between the originally announced graduation date and athletic events like the MHSAA Track Regionals. In particular, they acknowledge the presentation given by Class President Evan Depew, Vice President Julianna Cowles, Secretary Paisley Harvey, Treasurer Thad Timar, and Class Council Representative Anthony Stevens pointing out those conflicts at the September 28, 2026 Board of Education Meeting.
